i have not yet came across the mumbai grahak panchayat either at Vileparle or Dadar,but i have read and saw how this grahak panchayat gives relief to the consumer on different fields.Its a simply respectable movement.I need the guidance of this Grahak Panchayat on following matter. There are many agencies in Mumbai and every where which are providing drivers on contract or permanent basis and also on an HOURS basis to those who own the cars but can not drive or do not want to drive for whatsoever reasons.Though the owner of the car has an insurance of a car but if because of the negligence of this hired driver or his rash driving if the owner's car meet an accident then what are the liabilities of the drivers provider agency ? will the agency be responsible for the loss of vehical ? Can the owner claim the loss from agency ?I feel it is a regular thing now a days to hire a driver and we need to have clarification in this matter. Can Grahak Panchayat speak and guide on this ?..... SHEKHAR
