If you are looking for a cozy place to dine in at and would like home cooked food with a difference in flavour from the regular indian food, then this Parsi restaurant is the place you should try .A small place situated at the end of the 12th main right above the corner house, the ICE - CREAM giant of bangalore at indranagar. The entrance is more as if one is visiting some one's house. The stairs lead you upstairs to the restaurant which is a small house neatly converted into a cosy quiet restaurant. The Place doesnt Look over the top but is just basic like any regular dinning room of any house would look like. You are greeted by a warm smile of the waiters. The Menu is interesting but not too long and confusing. They have a couple of wines to try and a few non -alchoholic ones too.The starters i must say are quite a few but all sound different from the regular ones we have allways eaten everywhere. We ordered keema ne patties which turned out to be amazing and delicious and brain cutlets(their speciality) which i must say only people who love to experiment should try and coctail kebabs which were again yummy. All these were had some especial parsi masala in it and really tasted different from the regular kebabs i have eated so far.Everything is available in chicken as well as mutton so double points for that!! Not leaving the Vegetarians behind the options though few but not bad ..again veg keema ne patties which were pea stuffed potato patties... Oh time for main course now.....We ordered mutton dhansak and the curry chawal which was prawns cooked in a spicy red coconut gravy..well doesnt it sound good and tasty..in reality it is full of flavour and tasty. The portions are also large enough so two dishes are sufficient for3 people with a good appetite. The vegetarians section also have many options ,the vegetarian dhansak is an option and many other side dishes are an option in the menu . Now it was time for me to indulge my sweet tooth...thought the options are limited to just a few ...LA-GUNA CUSTARD : which is baked and steamed custard ; MAWA CAKE WITH ICE -CREAM ; CHOCOLATE TRUFLE ; KULFI ; CHEESE CAKE .The mawa cake was really tastly and liked by all ,the kulfi was indeed sinfull though the LA-GUNA CUSTARD was a little too dry. But i must still say it was all in all still worth it ,as we all were a satiated lot and would like come back again. Before I end this I must let say that the service was quick that also on a sunday and is moderately priced. This place is a must visit as it is a combination of all things in a small box .
