If the food doesnt kill you, the rude waiters just might!!
Thats how I would summarize all 3 of my visits to this place (Yes, I keep asking myself y I go there after each of those bad experiences). The food is off the roof spicey & over priced for the minimal ambiance & pace of service. But what drives you mad, would be the rudeness of the waiters & dont get me started on how they wud give u a cold stare if ur tip didnt match up with their expectations.. Keep Away!!!
Its the height of Racism in the middle of Bangalore.. People are judged based on the color of the skin, so unless you are either from the North East or Black, be prepared to shell out an "extra" on ur entry alone.. & it doesnt end with just the entry charges, while they have a "North Eastern" DJ playing at one end & Black DJ playing at the other, only people belonging to these 2 races are allowed on the dance floor.. others can just stand at the bar & sip on the expensive bottled beer.. While we tried to let all this pass, a member of the above mentioned communities misbehaved with a girl in our group, in the verbal argument that continued the bouncers pushed our group of friends (including girls) outside while allowed the group of stags who misbehaved to stay
Filthy & a whole lot of waiting. Those are the two things I could remember about my 2 visits to the Grill House near Ulsoor. In spite of my first bad experience, I decided to give it a second attempt owing to its proximity to my office. The service was extremely slow & would take your patience to its limit. But it was even more disappointing when the food arrived. The plates didn't appear to be washed properly & we got a scowl as a response when asked to change the plates. In my first visit I had a similar problem with unwashed cutlery. The food seems to be average, but after the sight of the greasy plate, our appetite was completely lost. I had an embarrassing time in front of my guests whom I had brought for dinner because of lack of hygiene, rude behavior of the waiters & just average food, wrapped in a high priced menu. Overall - Disappointing
