...Chicken Pepper Masala (which was not there in the menu). On asking the person who took our order, he argued with us saying that our order was for Chicken and not Mutton!!! Then when we insisted, he first said that Mutton is not available...on informing him that he had earlier said mutton was there, he said ok let me find out and sped off to the kitchen.
Finally we got the Mutton Pepper Masala but by then our Parotta was stone cold. Half heartedly we had the food adn when the bill came , they charged us more than what was mentioned in the menu!! Just coz we questioned them on this, they reduced the amount!! This is pure conning...If you value your money and wish to have a good dining experience, this Tharavadu is not the place to go...
If there was a minus rating system, I would have rated this place in negative.
If you wish to have Keralite food, NEVER think of this place. This place SUCKS...be it the service, the food, the location.
I have gone there just twice and my experience both the times were terrible. The first time I went there hoping to have kappa and fish curry..one the of well known delicacies there. But they just didnt have kappa that day... was it our bad luck?? I thought it was...but realised that they usually dont have most of the items mentioned in the menu after my second visit.
We once came here hoping to have some parotta and mutton...we placed the order for Mutton pepper fry..and the dish that was placed in front of us was Chicken Pepper Masala
