I have been asked by my friend Mrs Gopalan to post a comment on her behalf , as she does not use a computer .
Mrs Gopalan is 78 years , a suffering from macular occlusion, which severely impaired her vision . The doctor performed surgery on her and she is ver happy with it. She should know what she is talking about because she is a retired principal of a school of nursing .
Dr Srinivas is a man of few words , a very fine Doctor , who never denigrates a colleague or anyone else.
Loose comments on behavior or bedside manner should not be confused with the doctor's professionalism or experience.
I have always had very good experiences with Dr Srinivas Rao , over many years.
He has successfully done my mother in laws cataract surgeries, my father's cataract , and my son' s lasik surgery. He's very professional.
I agree his manner may be brusque sometimes , but that I feel is because he works fast , and with concentration.
He explains a couple of times patiently , but you have to pay attention.
He's not money minded at all. In fact he sees a lot of patients everyday and I would go to him every time. He's even sent me off without paying him if he felt he did nothing that visit.

I have had the most horrifying experience consulting with Dr. Srinivas Rao at Rashmi Hospital, Indira Nagar, Bangalore. He definitely gives a bad name to the âDoctorsâ community and am yet to meet a more obnoxious and Rude Doctor in my life.
It all started with a simple consultation for my mother and we were told that she would need to undergo a cataract surgery. Since my mother was covered under insurance, I wanted to avail of that benefit. This was when trouble started. Dr Srinivas rao was referred to me by a family member. My first visit even i felt he was a nice doctor but not anymore. If my eye has a problem i wil definitely have a lot of questions to ask but first time i came across a doctor who has a problem to answer. Maybe i interrupted when he was saying something n to that his immediate response was "can you wait til i finish'.. i felt it was a little rude n dint ask that concern again.. i maybe wrong but i feel a doctor should have the patience to look into the problem.
the lady who picks up the phone that is the reception is very rude and does not have the curtesy to speak. i have never been there and i have discovered this trait over the phone and i have decided not to go to the Sreenivas rao.
The fat lady at the reception is sooo rude. The way she behave is that the people who come there are getting charity service. Immature and mean behavior.
You can take your father to Vikas Mahatme Eye hospital which is located in Nagpur city. Trust me, its the best ever eye hospital which I have seen in my entire life. The doctors are so friendly that you will never know that you are sitting in a hospital, check in google for more details.....

Dr. Srinivas Rao is very rude and unprofessional doctor. His motive is only to grab money from the patient. Whether the patient is cured or not, he is not botherd about it. Recently, I visited his clinic with my wife, she is having serious injury in her left eye. During the first visit he treated my wife with great care and diagnosed properly, My wife and I was very happy with his consultation. After taking the drop which he has suggested, ntothing happened we planned to visit him again. Unfortunately, he was out of town, but his wife was present.
