Hari Shree Vidyalaya: Hari Shree Vidyalaya was started in 2004 and is supported by the Chettinad Group of Companies. As of the 2008-2009 academic year, the school offers classes from pre-primary to Class VIII, and will be adding a class every year. Affiliated to the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) programme, the school incorporates Vedic heritage programmes to enable children in assimilating good values and retaining their cultural roots. As part of this system of schooling, the uniform for the children is the traditional pavada-chattai for girls and kurta-pyjama for boys.
