i enrolled a month back hoping to persue my music by doing my grades.....n i was assured that ill be coaching under professionals with the main focus on helping me clear the trinity music examinations,but was discouraged by the instructor claiming that skill is more required than knowledge or varios music degrees added to your name.....DOES EASTERN FARE COACH FOR THE TRINITY SCHOOL OF MUSIC EXAMINATIONS?????
My daughter went to Easternfare for an entire year before we had to move to Chennai. She loved her instructor Anand (who was truly focused on his students development). I wish they start their branch in Chennai too. Though we are trying to enroll her in other music academies, but it's getting little difficult to get a fully dedicated instructor. If anyone knows any good music school for piano or teacher in North Chennai, please help me.
EFMF is one of the best music schools in Bangalore. The instructors are friendly & I really enjoy my classes. I am learning to play guitar & I am happy to be tutored by Mr. Anand Pilakkat. The only drawback I see is that the institution is money minded and classes are crowded.
I enrolled for my guitar classes at the Eastern Fare Music Foundation in 2011. The syllabus is challenging and I quite like that bit. (Syllabus rating: Good)
The instructor, Anand P is fine too as far as his knowledge and teaching ability is concerned (although he's a pianist). However, his maturity level and professionalism is questionable. (Instructor Rating on Knowledge and Teaching Skill: Good and Instructor Rating on Professionalism: Poor)
Also, the ambience could certainly get better (read hygienic). The classes are held in a tiny garage in Koramangala and I was appalled to find dust, insects and mosquitoes in there on day 1. :( (Ambience Rating: Very Poor)
