Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath: Soak up some art and culture at CKP, the states premier school of art with a wealth of famous paintings and interesting exhibitions at the gallery. The rustic garden in the heart of the city is the perfect setting for inspiring beauty in the hundreds of art students that have passed its portals. Besides the school, the gallery has a collection of paintings by Roerich and hosts shows by established as well as budding artists, both Indian and international. CKP is also the venue for many handicraft sales, the most popular being Dastakaar Nature Bazaar every August.
