Many of you must have taken the Grand Safari in Bannerghatta Biological Park, but amidst the roaring Lions and witty Tigers, also lays a home for butterflies, which is worth visiting.

Nestled in a corner of Bannerghatta, Butterfly Park is a haven for a lot of species of butterflies. It may sound exaggerated but as you enter their home, none other but these winged creatures in all their flattering colours give you a warm welcome, which I am sure you would not have received as guests anywhere else. Wow…that’s how you feel in the Butterfly Park. To charm you more, there flows a stream gushing through the small world of flora planted there. Water flows below the tiny bridges and watching the little fish in it along with your multicoloured host seems like living in a dream of your childhood.

Butterfly Park also offers information about evolution of butterflies. A must visit place for those who would love to spend some time with childhood friends – The Butterflies.
