RTO Indira Nagar

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) is a part of the Transport Department, one of the highest revenue earning departments in the state. The RTO deals with various transport-related matters such as driving licences, registration of motor vehicles, grant and renewal of permits and other regulatory and enforcement functions. The department has also introduced the Citizens Charter to bring in transparency and efficiency in all matters. The charter deals with issue of driving licence, registration of motor vehicles and collection of motor vehicle tax.
