Select City Walk Mall , Saket , Delhi

I was in India in September of 2010. Being a foreigner, we were searched thoroughly and were asked not to take our cell phones with us. We went back to the hotel and left it there. To my surprise, we noticed that lots of people were using their phones in the theatre and were texting. How do you explain this?
