I completely agree with dhaval on this. I myself have been suffering from sinusitits since the past year. After getting treated for some time by an ENT specialist, I decided to consult Mr.Kirtane for a second opinion. However I was extremely disappointed with his diagnosis. He came across as a doctor only interested in making money and getting rid of his patient asap to accomodate more patients. Contrary to what my ENT and a subsequent ENT specialist suggested he suggested surgery. Overall my experience was pretty pathectic and I came back feeling worse. Such commercial minded doctors are a curse to society and to the noble profession of medicine.

contrary to what has been written above , for me Dr. Millind Kirtane acted as a God to treat a pretty dangerous condition called Cholesteotoma which was giving suffering to my son. Dr.Rupani ,Jaipur ,Rajasthan

ENT specialist Doctor M V Kirtane the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life.

My Name is Dhaval I live in Rajkot . I am suffering from sinuses since 6 years. I have taken treatment by several doctors here locally and have also got sinus (nose bone removed) surgery by local ENT doctor of Rajkot by Dr. Shranik Shah but nothing helped out and the problem was becoming worst day by day.
My problem was thick mucus not easy to come out from nose, stuffy nose, some times headache if problem increases.
I use to clean my nose every day / twice a day with warm mineral water added sault and soda inside with rubber pump to drain out my sinus but after few hours thick mucus generates again.

As the suffering was going worst day by day, I always remains uncomfortable , disappointed and depressed.
Finally I want back to my doctor shrank shah who did my surgery. I asked him to suggest me some super specialist to get me rid of this problem. He recommended me to Dr. M V Kartane of Mumbai. I have taken his appointment of 28th May 2010 at 6:30 PM by phone from Rajkot and booked my and my father’s tickets for Mumbai of 27th .
I was very much happy and hoping that this are end of the days of my sufferings.

Finally I and my father was at Mumbai on 28th morning and stayed at hotel near by his clinic. I am my father reached Dr MV Kirtane’s clinic near opera house sharp at 6:00 PM. I was waiting for my turn with all my documents / records of six year having with me. Finally my turn arrived at 9:15 PM after more then 3 hours. Some junior doctor check me asked about my symptoms and check my reports and CT Scans and he went inside to talked to Dr. Kartane’s cabin. Dr Kartane came out he checked my nose and told me there is nothing I can see. I told him that I just cleaned my nose and drain our my sinuses which I oftenly use do as told but you can see my nose is still stuffy and chicks are not usual. I asked him to check with endoscope and request my problems are serious and sinuses will be back after few hours.
Dr Kirtane checked with endoscope and found only littlie sinuses inside and told me this is nothing you have problem. When Dr Showed me video of endorscope I told him see its there a transparent thick mucus which I am suffering from. He told everyone have this much little its not in big quantity. He added “this is just your imaginations” you have no problem at all you are just spoiling your life and wasting my time. I was surprised with this kind of answer.
I was think do I am mad since six year I am suffrring from this ? gone thorough surgery once and traveled till Mumbai from Rajkot wasting my time and money just the hear that I am mad? This type of answer was really disappointed me. Dr Kirtane even did not bother to check my files of six years . Even he did touched my file nor check my any CT sances. Then he just prescribed me one allergy medicine and one nosal spray. Finally after paying Rs.2000 fees I want out from his clinic with disappointments.

After reaching to hotel me and my father decided to show few more doctors in Mumbai.
Next day morning on 29th may on Saturday my sinus become worst and I decided to immediately run to Dr Kirtane’s clinc to show my problem and prove that I was not wrong, but unfortunately due to Saturday his clinic was off and his phones was in answering machines.
Then after my father contact his friend in Mumbai who’s son is doctor and provides his servers to various hospitals. We went to his house for dinner at night and I talked him about my problem to him. He checked my reports and CT scans and decided to show 2-3 ENT specialist and will find out best cure for this.
On Monday he taken to to safi hospital OPD , the doctor checked me and my entire file and reports and prescribed me mucolite to get rid of thick mucus. This cost me just Rs.20 for file in free OPD at safi hospital.
Same day we decided to show one more ENT Specilist and taken appointment in OPD to Dr. Sanjiv in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri for Wednesday 4pm
Meanwhile I started taking mucolite which given me best result in 2 days for my sufferings of six years.
On Wednesday 2nd may I was on time at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital
Dr. Sanjeev listen to me very carfully check all my reports and files asked about my problems and told me to do new CT SCAN for latest report. Which I did there and next day when report came Dr.Sanjeev checked and said that problem is there. Mucus are thickning and sinus problem is there. He prescribed me one more medicine alone with mucolite and fluticon spray.

After this combination I fill 80 to 90% better today within few days.
After analyzing my report by Dr. Sunil my fathers friend’s son. He told that until now everyone was just giving me medicine just for allergy since years and finally mucolite and spray have worked.

So moral of my story is Dr M V Kirtane is wost doctor don’t help after taking money. May be a small amount for him but big for me. Do not understand problem of his patient and think that patients are fool who travel to Mumbai wasting his time and money.

I request of all the readers to just beware of Dr. MV Kartane who is just interested in making money not to solve peoples problem.
