Modern Lunch Home: Modern Lunch home has three branches in the city specialising in multi cuisine seafood. Modern Lunch Home can be found at Grant Road, Lower Parel and Sion. They accommodate around 50 and the Parel branch has an air conditioned section. The food is a mix of South Indian, Punjabi and Chinese vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The special items are the Chicken Tandoori, Mutton Sukha and Fish Fry and Fish Masala. All three outlets get very crowded at lunch hours and see queues of hungry diners waiting to get in. Parking is a problem near all the outlets.

Its one of the cheap eateries , good affordable non veg when your budget is tight. Nothing very classy . The AC section is pretty cramped with the roof so low that you cannot stand straight if your anywhere above average height. Service is good , the waiters are very prompt.
