I had put my 1.5 yrs old daughter in Vivero (Powai). After 1 month of starting daycare, the proprietors realized that they can make 10 times the money they are making out of daycare of 9 kids if they use the same premise for a pre-nursery class of 20 kids. So, they informed all the parents that they are shutting down the daycare. So, suddenly I find myself in a soup of hunting for another daycare and of making my baby go through the week-long trauma of settling down at a place all over again. They say that they will refund 1 month's fees but how will they compensate for the efforts of parents and the anxiety that the li'l child will go through for a new place again. Greedy people running a "finishing school"-type set-up for sensitive kids!
