I had a very bad experience at Dreams Furnishings, Kirti Nagar, Delhi. I had placed an order for 24 mt. curtain cloth. The said cloth was not available at the store so I was asked to pay some advance and the material will be delivered in 3- 4 days. I made the full payment of 24 mt. @ Rs.620/= per mt, in advance. After 4 days when they sent the cloth it was billed for 23.75 mt. I called the showroom and was told that the cloth was 24 mt only but as there was 23.75 mt only in the books so it has been billed for 23.75 mt. However when I checked the cloth sent to me was actually 23.75 mt only. I went to their showroom and was told that the godown people had said it was 24mt and you can take back your balance amount. My only submission at that time was that if the cloth was less at least you could have called me and confirmed whether 23.75 mt will be sufficient, and then the decision would have been mine if I wanted that much material or full 24 mt.I wanted to meet the manager but was politely told that he was out of Delhi and will call me on 27.09.2011 after his return, and that I should take the balance amount, which I refused to take back till I got a call from the manager. Till this date I am waiting for his call. I had never before measured the materials, but this is an eye opener as to how these people at Dreams cheat their clients by measuring less than what we have paid for. I for one am never going to Dreams again in my life. They dont even have the decency to call and feel sorry if their malpractice is caught. TO PLEASE EVERYONE BEWARE AND CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS BEFORE TAKING DELIVERY FROM DREAMS, KIRTI NAGAR, DELHI. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH DREAMS KIRTI NAGAR.
