In response to Dr. Kaiser:
Again: with all the respect of highest magnitude for your knowledge and experience; I completely agree that your statement âAs far as I am concerned and my team of doctors are concerned, we have much more interesting and passionate things to do.â â but this is at the cost of poor patients.
I also agree with you that certain tests are very much required and have to be performed to know the condition of the patient. But, do these tests have to be soooo expensive? I do agree that some funds have to be raised to run such a huge administration, but, doctor, donât you think that they are over charged with the clear intention of profitability.
When I entered the hospital I read the motto at the reception â âto give quality at affordable costâ â affordable cost (isnât this funny)?
.. and coming back to âgrandsonââs case: after some further enquiry I found out that she was a 87 year old patient. After all the tests performed from the neurology department, she was suspected to have some sort of stomach cancer, and was referred to gastro department. Mean while, Dr. Ramana Reddy and Dr. Rakesh Jhadav keep on counseling that they require further tests to know if what they are suspecting is true. --- not my point here is: let us consider the patient had cancer â what is the option? Chemotherapy? Ha ha â this is what Dr. Ramana and Dr. Jhadav suggested.. Now, can an 87 year old sustain chemotherapy? Pardon my limited knowledge, I guess âNOâ.
Dear Dr⦠Again let me clarify that I donât have anything against you in person. Though I am an atheist, I have all the respect of the highest magnitude to Sri. Sri. Sri BGS for his works. But, really sorry to say, he perhaps is not very happy looking down from heaven (if exists).
