I think the shopkeepers have to learn some basic lessons in dealing courteously with customers. They pack the ladies' handbags in a red bag without telling you that you might need to take out your phone or purse. Since this is something that is not done at any other store, you are not aware that they are going to complete lock your bag until it is done. So when you tell them confusedly that you're phone is inside, the lady will yell at you for not saying this earlier.
Then the billing for the electronics items is done at that end of the shop itself. So the cashier there will remove the red bag so you can take out your purse to make the payment. But they do not provide a carry bag for the items you have purchased. So you go to the billing counters at the front of the shop, where the cashier refuses you by telling you "No. It costs Rs 5" (I'm not sure why he thought I would not be able to pay Rs.5 considering that I had come to shop at the mall.) Then after you wait patiently while he ignores you and finally demand that he give you the 5 rupees bag, he demands to see your bill from the electronic store. Impertinence - there is security at the exit to oversee that ! And then when you go to the lady to return the red bag, she has to yell at you for taking your bag out ! Not planning on returning to Total mall.
