Web Designer/Developer
D2 Solutions is seeking a highly skilled candidate to design in house and customers web products.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Duties include (but are not limited to):
(1) Create concepts, artwork and layouts for a variety of creative Web interfaces and/or graphic design products, based on artistic beliefs and client feedback
(2) Collaborate with content, development, and digital marketing teams to oversee Web projects through the entire design process (requirements analysis, research/planning, site structure, design, development, and maintenance)
(3) Define content strategy and design features for websites, to include creating information architectures, storyboards, wireframes and mockups to describe the intended user experience
(4) Create campaign branding across the U.S. Armyâs social media platforms
(5) Demonstrate a proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver) and a thorough knowledge of site design and user interface (UI) design processes
(6) Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to turn static art into browser-based Web pages, providing expertise on semantic HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript using current Web technologies and standards
Qualifications
⢠Experience in developing websites and/or web applications. Minimum of 1.5 years of web design/development required.
⢠Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability.
⢠Front & back-end development experience stressing importance of seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.
⢠Practical experience in development of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL graphics creation with Photoshop, Illustrator, (Adobe Creative Suite), multimedia creation with Flash, ActionScript, (Macromedia Studio)
⢠Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.
