This was a short North Eastern fair girl (apparently the only one there who cuts hair). SHocking that she was the only hair dresser. I explained what I wanted /..in detail and with the use of photographs of my earlier hair cuts. The hair dresser kept nodding and eventually ended up giving me one of the worst hair cuts i have ever had. I have had this hair style going for the last four years and she tries to cover up saying "your hair is like that or you have not straightened it properly"!! This, despite my telling her that this is not a new hair cut for me. She was neither paying attention nor was interested. I have no idea what she saw in the photos I took for her. SHe should have been ultra careful considering that she was handling very short hair. I hated the way she was holding her scissors and the direction in which she was cutting my hair. I do know how to get my hair cut right and i tried suggesting that to her but HELL...she had not idea what she was doing. 2 months down, my hair now looks like chopped with a knife or something.
The rest of the staff was OK in behaviour....but they were not able to solve my problem and I had to return with what was my worst hair cut ever. I was not even offered a discount for this horrible work. I had to come home and cut my own hair to look presentable. Never go to this cheap place for hair cut.

I totally second ur views. They are indeed the biggest cheats. The worst is that no one can tell from the posh appearance of their showrooms. they have hired some real smart sales men who do their job well and very professionaly. but the policy of the chain seems to be to cheat people bu sending defective stuff, and then never responding to their calls.
we ordered for a 3 1 1. 2 of them were delivered defected and the third one was ruined by the technician who came to fix them. He was so unskilled that he could not even fix the legs of one of the chairs. Shame on them for this. Plus, each time we called them, they pretented to take up our case with their manager and said they will call back but they did. we made several attempts but to no avail. the manager was also sent and email but never responded. the name of the manager of Royal OAK Dodda Banaswadi (outer ringroad) in Bnagalore is Manoj. and the person who never calls back is Srinivas. We got frustrated and went over to have a meeting and get our money back. Thankfully, we had only paid in part. The manager and senior manager came to meet us with srinivas but hardly did they feel sorry for their unprofessional behaviour. instead, they defended themselves, placed the blame on the delivery guys, and to top it also said that their stuff cannot be perfect since it is all imported. this was the funniest of them all (to this i pointed out tht in that case they should mention this during sales only). The manager also asked us to choose another set as every other piece of our chosen set was defective, implying that the defect did not happen during dispatch but all the pieces were already defective. rubbish company with awful staff and lying managers. how sad that their appearance does not give away even an iota of their cheapness. they are all assholes!!!! save urself the pain. go local but never go royal oak.

(the front staff is a pair of pretty smiley faces who are quite hospitable). The same guy started the talk with his scissors, without even trying to understand what my problem was. I stopped him from using the scissors and asked him to bring on another éx[ert'...consiedering Lakme should have an expert better than him. Turns out, there was none. The other lady who came to provide her opinion was as good as this inexperienced boy. She had nothing much to offer. I was so badly stuck in the parlour and my hair was cut so sort that nothing could be done. The hair dresser continued his advice on 'how to straighten'(as I always straighten my hair with an iron) assuming tht I am new to straightening. Dude, I have been straightening forever!!!! And I know straightening would not solve my problem. So, i lived with this horrible haircut for a loooong time befiore it could grow so I could fix it. It was only fixed recently after 2 hair cuts over a period of 6-7 months.
I doubt if they are Lakme. They look fake to me. The staff was quite unprofessional (except their polite bahaviour) and did not know their job as well as should be expected of Lakme.

i had the most terrible experience of my life in this Salon. I went for a short haircut....trimming basically. The person who did was good at talking and pathetic at listing so much so that even before i finished telling him what i wanted, he had started running his scissors like and expert. the end result was so horrible and looked like a man. The hair cut was far from what i wanted. my earlier good hair cut was lost completely and it was far from well finished with some hair sticking out at the side of my ears. that was the ugliest part. the second ugliest part was the long back hair and short top hair. OH, god!! only if he listened. Disgusted as I was, I went again to get it fixed. They reluctantly allowed me in
