Hi, I had quiet an irritating experience with the reliance timeout on cunningham road which is attached to coffee day. i fail to understand why coffee day agreed to set up their outlet like that with a door opening into reliance timeout book store without thinking about the basic concerns. i say this coz there is no security system that stops people form carrying anything from store into that coffee day.
today i entered the coffee day from the external entrance with a book in my hand so that i could enjoy a comfortable read over a cup of coffee in the limited time i had for a break- i ordered, sat on the chairs placed outside in the open area.however when i decided to leave post settling the bill the reliance time out security personnel stopped me and asked me for a bill for the book i was carrying and i had to explain it to 4 different secuurity personnel for over 20 minutes that its not part of their stock and that its my personal property and that i was visiting the coffee day outlet not the reilance store-i had not even entered the reliance timeout store. the coffee day personnel did nothing to help n i cant blame them coz i guess when these companies decide to set up an outlet they do not care about the unecessary trouble their customers can be put to. i have been a patron of coffee day since 2004 inspite of its falling standards adn also a regular customer at reliance timeout however this is ridiculous- not only did this ruin my day, it also leaves me with a feeling of revultion for both the organizations. With all the experties that they have gained over the years-they cant evenplan a proper store layout???
