I would only say, Royal Enfield is really spoiling its good name with such poor service points. Bangalore being one of the major Bulleting cities, they must have taken care of their service in a much better way. If they are not able to manage the crowd, better dont have a service station, do only sales. There are much better Authorised service points (like Manjunatha Garage, Nandan's Bullet garage, Technik Motors etc...) in Bangalore who dont even ask for booking for service. Others really do a good job. They atleast spend quality time for your bullets and do better justice for the money you pay. So dear co-bulleters, dont go and get cheated at this service point. If you are regularly leaving your bullets for servicing here, do check if everything is fine with such good service points. May be, who knows - you may also repent the same way like me today. It is all for your benefit - and - its upto you to decide. If many of us decide to skip this service point and when his business in Servicing comes down, only then the company would start realising that there is something wrong there. Come on guys, "Araise, Awake" atleast now - before you ending up paying 10 - 15K for a careless behaviour of these irresponsible guys. Regards, Manoji

So, I took my bullet to another Authorised Service station in Bangalore. There, we spotted that the bikes Engine bearrings were damaged and the engine overhauling is required. If this has been addressed during the second or third services, it would have got cleared under warranty. But due to the carelessness of the Brand store service guys, I am spending around 9000 rupees for this problem alone. The other ridiculos thing that happened is - the rear wheel was not fitted properly by the service guys and hence the "Sringaram" that connects the rear wheel is completely damaged. that adds another 1200 rupees for my service this time. Also, because of the real demand for service at this place, tehy even dont treat their customers well. Many mis-behaviours like making customers wait, leaving them un-attended for long hours, improper noting for complaints while leaving for service, etc.... do happen here. After shedding nearly the price of a car, poor customers have to keep begging these guys for a good service. The issue is, this service point is targetted by most Bulletters and hence, these people allocate a very less time for the bikes. Poor service guys are made regularly to attend 3 to 4 bikes per day and hence, they arent able to make justice to the service they do. Being a brand store with the service managers regularly being changed (there seems to be a high attrition for this post), there is no proper responsible person to be questioned.

Dear Readers, I am one of many unsatisfied & affected customers at the Royal Enfield Brand store. I bought my Machismo 350 at the Enfield Brand Store in end 2006. from then, I am servicing my bike only at this place. One thing I noticed from day one is, there are a lot of customers coming for servicing their Bullets at this place than any other service center at Bangalore. (May be - the reason is - this is the Enfield Brand store). In this 3 years, including the first 4 free services and around 6 to 7 paid services, I have serviced my Machismo ONLY at this place. From my second service, there is a creeching sound from the engine. This was neglectantly ignored regularly by the service engineers. I quote only the Royal Enfield Brand Store service point here: Door No: 2067/1, 2068/2 East End 'A' Main 9th Block, Jayanagar Bangalore - 560 069 Telephone:+91 - 80 - 41536488, 22440588 (Showroom), 22440587 (Workshop) I was even made to believe that this is the regular sound from a Machismo. Even, the oil-leakage issue was never addressed. My latest service with them was even worser. My major complaints were: 1. While applying the rear brakes, there was a terriffic sound and 2. Horns were not blowing. 3. Petrol leakage from the top of the tank. The guys charged me around 3000 bucks for the service and promised that all the issues are perfectly addressed.
