There are times when i get into the mood, and we drive down to Mayajaal for a movie. while we wait for the movie to begin ( since most of the time its an imprompto journey, we get tickets only for late nite shows), we enjoy a game of bowling and grab a bite to eat. the movie theaters are plush, tho the cafeteria could be better.

the day i decided to go in for working out, it was Talwakars that i headed out to. my brother too joined this place during his visit to India and managed to work out every single day. a place that is fun and worth the money, helps you stay fit and enjoy working out.

Their garlic bread is the item that makes me visit the place over and over again. i went here the 1st time right after it was opened, and must say they have quite a range of pastries and eats.. a bit on the expensive side, but worth it, esp when you are indulging once in a while.

The first time i savored their pasta was at my niece's place. that was when i came ot know of this restaurant. i did take their number and do home delivery thereon. lovely yummy pastas cooked to perfection in different sauces. they must also include more variety of pastas, there are times when am in the mood for something different, but they dont have it...

A perfect place for a cup of coffee at 11 in the night. there have been times when we've gone for a movie at Mayajaal and on the way back, stopped her for a coffee. at that time, the place is pretty quiet and there is barely any one around.

This place on ECR road is filled with interesting craft and art pieces. there are houses that resemble the ones in other parts of the country, craftsmen making items right there in front of your eyes- blowing at glass, working at potters wheel and so on. A lovely place that every person visiting chennai should check out atleast once..
