To, General Manager Respected Sir, Subject: HDFC Bank ATM malfunction, at at "Pecific Mall" in Gaziabad, Cash of Rs 3,000 not dispensed, but bank account debited the withdrawal. I am MAHENDRA SINGH GAUTAM, Product Specialist-Rapid Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd. Delhi and hold a UP S.B.I. Savings Bank Account no is 11147232116 On 01.10.2011, in an emergency, I used the ATM of HDFC Bank ATM ID, at "Pecific Mall" in Gaziabad for withdrawing Rs 3,000 from my above Savings Bank Account. After feeding the required information in the ATM machine for cash withdrawal, the machine did not dispense the cash of Rs 3,000. Further, charge slip was also not dispensed by the machine. Due to hard-pressed for time, when I tried I.C.I.C.I. (ATM ID S1CW6372), the machine dispensed cash of Rs 3,000, there i got the cash ( & slip withdrawing Rs 3,000) from the ATM machine for the same i.e Rs 3000/-. But my Acc. has been wrongly debited for total Rs 6000 (Rs 3000/-From ICICI which i got & another 3000/- From HDFC which for the above mentioned transaction for which I never got the money from HDFC bank ATM. There was an excess cash withdrawal of Rs 3,000 debited to my account wherein the machine did not dispense actual cash, yet it erroneously recorded the cash withdrawal transaction which is reflecting in slip, as a withdrawal, in my account. Therefore on 01.11.2011, I got the complaint registered with HDFC Customer Care Service & Zonal officer ( Mr.Ravi Josi ) . Therefore, I request you to kindly re-credit the amount of Rs 3,000 in my account for the amount not dispensed by HDFC ATM at "Pecific Mall" in Gaziabad as it has caused me an unnecessary financial loss.
