Montane shipping is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Right from packing to delivery, I experienced their inefficiency at all levels. I shipped from Chennai to Houston,US. I am not new to international shipping, I have seen good services,exceptional services and Montane's service is DISGUSTING. They opened some of the cartons at the ware house, repacked and stuffed the furniture packing with hard wood and metal items resulting in one of the legs of a valuable,beautiful chair being broken and some of the valuable items from the cartons missing. They charged what an established company would charge but did not provide the service the established company would provide. Their counterpart CALI AMERICA even pressurized us to pay at the time of delivery even though we prepaid every dollar before the shipment. Even though we had given all the documents properly signed to Montane, their counterpart CALI AMERICA kept asking for copies of documents from us. They could not even coordinate between them and provide a good service, if not exceptional. I have not yet received any concrete reply from them addressing these issues.
