Styx Pub

Great place for the good old beer and rock 'n' roll party. The music's nice and heavy and this is probably the only pub that dares to deviate a bit from the conventional music being played everywhere. The rocking floor (literally rocking) on one end of the pub gets you thinking your high much before you actually are but that's great. One thing that seems a bit conspicuous about this place is the height of the lamps. It's almost impossible to avoid bumping your head on it so what is the management really up to? Are we onto something here? :P

I visited this place for a haircut and got a pretty decent one, not to mention I could've got the same on for 25 bucks but nevertheless, it was quite good. A few tips to the "hair experts" though. 1. Don't tell me my hair is dry and damaged and needs treatment. I live with it so I would know better. 2. Don't try your sales gimmicks and provide me with offers and products I'll probably never use. I probably have time to shampoo my hair once in a while and that's it. So don't waste your time. 3. Don't offer me manicures and pedicures and other junk. I'm still not convinced about the metro-sexual theory.

The booze is great, music is a bit repetitive but it's still decent once you get past the first few pegs, the no smoking rule sucks though. But there's this place probably on the first floor where you can go for a drag or two. They could do with a bit more of Tool, Slipknot and stuff, branch out into more kinds of Rock.

The food here is blended really well and the potions are relatively large. The interiors, though, are like every other Oriental restaurant I've been to with dragon heads and red all over. 'Passive' is the only word that comes to mind when I think of the service. It's not that it's bad, but like I said, it's passive. P.S. It's about time they stock up some booze

Best Packers & Movers

These guys are horrible with their services. They quoted 5000 for the job and once they were done with the survey, it shot up to 7000 which was clearly mentioned in the total section of the quotation. When they finally turned up for the job, they demanded for 1000 bucks more as service tax. If you've given a quotation of 7000, why not mention that taxes will be charged separately. They had already taken 200 bucks for booking and didn't add that on the bill. Well, this is a clear case of misguiding customers and making the most of their helplessness. They asked for an additional 500 bucks after the stuff was packed..when asked for what, they said it's for the lorry and consignment charges. After everything being included in the bill, why on earth should we be paying for the vehicle separately. Isn't that included in the 'moving' section of packing and moving?
