This is the most amazing place to stay in Udaipur especially because of the wonderful family who live there. I stayed on two seperate occasions for a total of 7 months and my time there was enriched by a close connection with Hindu culture and family life through my interaction with the warm, friendly and hospitable family who live there. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all neccesary facilities. You don't feel like a tourist when staying there, it is a very local atmosphere with a bustling market nearby, and just a short walk to the touristic part of town. In this place you get the best of both worlds. The prices are very reasonable for the kind of experience you will have here, if you want to experience the richness of life in India then I recommend you stay at Meenakshi Guesthouse for as long as possible!!!
