we 2 my wife and me belong Kongini iyengar community and worship Lord Vishnu as our main deity. So thought of having darshan of mukthinath on that auspicious day. from chennai flew to Katmandu through jet airways flight for a special darshan trip to Mukthinath during vaikunta ekadeshi. The entire tour was organised by Nepal Pilgrim travel, Mylapore. Starting from morning flight to delhi and back to chennai Mr.Sunil accompanied us. We reached katmandu at 2;40pm. Bus and tour manager mr.vijendra were waiting for us. on that evening we had darshan of pashupathinath, guheshwari and jala narayan and stayed in hotel gangjong ( 4 star ). It was cold in katmandu. Rooms were prettly warm with ce ntral heating. on the second day we flew to pokhara and had sightseeing tour of pokhara city ( A BEAUTY FULL VALLEY). On the 3rd day we went to the airport and flew to Jomson , the nearest airport to Mukthinath. we kept our things in the hotel and started our journey by jeep. after an hour we reached a place called Ranipawua.from there i along with wife Sowmya walked in snow till mukthinath temple. we had told get snow proof shoes from chennai itself. it is hardly one km, but it was full of snow and very chill.Mr sunil accompanied us. we were 25 people in the group and he and his guide took care of each and everyone and made our darshan and trek easy. Once we all reached Mukthinath temple.we were given hot tea. Few among us wanted to take bath in kandagi and go mukhi (108). But it was frozen ice. it was very chill to touch.understanding our feelings and anxiety mr.sunil along with his tour manager broke those ice bergs for us with the help of local people and got it heated by the MONKS(Ladies), there and made us snanam in kandagi. we never imagined that one tour operator will do such things for pilgrims. We all had very good darshan of sri murthi. the photo attached his frozen kandagi water coming out from the 108 go mukhi. we all thanked mr sunil and his entire team of Nepal pilgrim Travel to make our mukthinath trip and especially kandagi bath possible.
