Walked into Jimi's last night for a couple of beers before heading home. The waiter at the bar reluctantly handed me the menu when I asked him whether they had draught beer (like I was supposed to look up the answer for that myself) and then proceeded to give me a somewhat watered down draught (he refused to say which make). I wanted to order food for a takeaway and he refused. When I asked him again, in front of his fellow waiters, one of them said yes and took my order.
I had ordered a 'classic cheeseburger' and when I got home I found a stale and tough thin flat piece of chicken shoved between two halves of a bun with vegetables that seemed equally stale. Everything smelt of spoilt fish. There was no sauce and even the french fries smelt of rotting fish.
I have always viewed Koramangala's "watering holes" with a certain amount of suspicion. Koramangala has never seemed to be the kind of place that is particular about the class of people it entertains and hence the quality of food it serves (barring a few stellar exceptions) is quite mediocre.
Jimi's beer cafe only reinforces this opinion of a very mediocre and 3rd rate eating/drinking experience in koramangala.
I am giving it a single star rating since there does not seem to be a no star option.
