This guy kept post-poning the date to show me the house, insisting that I should bring my wife along and finalise the house same day. Then when we did finalize one house, he said you can give me token advance. I insisted that I will pay the landlord next day, only to find out later that the house has been taken at lower rent. Finally, we got one house and paid token immediately. Then, one day a lady called for the brokerage, which I said I will pay next month as all the money was gone towards paying the deposit. I got call again, when I promised to pay them on the 1st of next month, and they seemed to agree. But, next day he sent goons, who started shouting in kannada and then one of them said that I should better not waste money on hospital and pay the brokerage. I dared him to hit me and then they walked away. In order to avoid further hastles, I borrowed money and paid them next day...they are goons so avoid business with them...
Most of the positive reviews written here by the Mahaveer guys itself. All the above reviewers have written only one review, very long and positive one, poor quality english.... hence proved that these are planted reviews. My personal experience was terrible. I chose a rented flat and came back in 2-3 hrs to pay the deposit, but found that Mahaveer guys fixed another tenant for higher rent. When I complained about this to their boss, he got angry and came to hit me. I then politely informed them that I am an officer in the ministry of defense, and touching me will produce severe repercussions. Anyway, then my new land lord told me that how these guys are responsible for steep hike in rent and have connections with goons and police alike..
Metro Furniture cheated us. They showed us Zuari Design and promised to customise it a little bit. What we got was a really bad quality furniture that hardly resembled the Zuari Design. They promised free home delivery and sneaked in the clause of extra delivery charges. They had taken advance money for Zuari Centre table, which they refused to give and insisted on giving their own substandard center table.They did not give us any proper receipt so we could not go to consumer court also. NEVER visit Metro Furniture ever.....
