God only knows how and who awarded qatar airlines as the best in the world - coz their airport staff is surely the worst. I have major complains against the beautiful lady who was on duty on 31st early morning for qatar flight from chennai to newyork via doha.
She was incapable of handling passengers. she was inefficient, rude, unorganised and absolutely not cordial and friendly to senior travellers. She did not let my mother board the flight. Due to her high handed behaviour and rudeness, my mother was shaking, trembelling, pleading and requesting. that lady said my mother's card wasnt working. she dint accept that their card swiping machine is not working. She did not tell my mother well in advance what was the exact amount to be paid for excess baggage. She told only 5 minutes before checkin counter was closing - demanded my mother to get 6000 rs cash. my mother had 2,500 rs in hand but that wasnt suffiecient. My mother had additional cash of 6000 rs in her bag back at that time but because of the stress caused by that lady my mother started feeling uneasy and completely forgot that she had cash. Any senior citizen travelling abroad alone in the middle of night cant handle screaming and stress and rude behaviour at all. My mother was travelling alone as she wanted to be present for her grandchild's birth on time. My mother was also carrying Rakhi from me to my brother, but today is the festival and my brother hasnt got Rakhi on his hand. There were other passengers also who cud not board that flight because of that lady alone.
You have to find out whats her problem. People who are not nice and happy should not handle passengers especially looking at the reputed world's best airline. You should only hire world's beast staff and train them in the best possible manner.
I m going to sue your airline for all the troubles that have happened due to this incident. The loss of money. The emotional trauma that my mother, my brother, his 9 months pregnant wife, my sister, my self, my husband have gone through. We were awake all night. The next whole day was wasted. My children have exams going on..I fell sick due to lack of sleep and keeping awake non stop until the next night.
