I had ordered for 2 half kg cakes on 1st October 2012 at 11 am in the morning from the Vile Parle branch. It was supposed to be delivered to Juhu. Order was 1/2 kg of Choc Truffle & 1/2 Kg of Black Forest. It was Birthday cake for my father.
I was told that the cake would be delivered by 5 pm. Till 6.30 there was no delivery done. When I called up at 6.30 pm I was told that it will be taken care of in 5 minutes. I again called at 6.40 pm. Then I was told that there was a delivery problem & the cake could not be delivered. I was told (just customer service....) that 'If I want the cake, then come and take it from the shop'....SUCH A RUDE ANSWER...AS IF A FAVOR WAS BEING DONE !! I inquired about why I was not called and informed about the problem..I could have made alternate arrangement. I was told that we cannot help you on this. The guests were already at home and this is really unacceptable, but there was no empathy from them.
