Don't step into BTM outlet if you love your money! 2012-12-06 My experience at Naturals BTM layout, Bangalore was extremely disappointing. On 30th of August 2012, I was billed for Rs.2298 (with taxes) in advance, on membership price, on the pretext that I could avail the services any time in September 2012 and be eligible for the “Freedom offer-1947”. When I said that the offer was supposed to be valid on Full Price, I was told that since I was a regular customer, I would be given the offer on membership price itself. I then got my remaining services done on Tuesday, 4th September 2012 by an attendant called Pavithra. She even gave me suggestions about what services I can get availed for the voucher, like body polishing. On 29th of September 2012, I went to the salon and fixed an appointment for myself for hair spa, body massage and threading for 30th September, 2012. When I reached for my scheduled appointment today, I was asked for some coupon. I told them I was never given any coupon at the first place; in fact I was never informed of any coupon that I needed to collect to avail the free voucher. The lady at the reception insisted that she must have given me and I must have lost it. She then checked in her database and I wasn’t registered for the 1947 offer, even when I was told I was. I told her to check my last bill and she showed me how I was billed on membership price for Rs.1985.. I asked her to call the attendant. The attendant too refused to acknowledge that she had given me services under the offer or gave me suggestions for availing the voucher. Needless to say, I was conned and cheated true and proper. The receptionist/head never intended to give me any offer. She just billed me for Rs.2298 on 30th August, for services that I really did not need. She refused to accept that she didn’t inform me or ask me to collect any coupon and sort of indirectly hinted that I was trying to get free services. I told her that I have been a member of Naturals from past 6 months and I was extremely disappointed by their attitude and this deliberate conning on their part. I then asked her to redeem my card, which I had got at Naturals, Manipal. Surprisingly, even when the card is valid at every Naturals Outlet, she said that it can be redeemed only in the outlet I got it from. I told her that I have no plans of ever coming there again and she hardly apologized, even when it was entirely her mistake and a deliberate plan to fool me. My friends started going to Naturals only because I recommended them the salon. But this incident has changed my mind about Naturals as a salon chain. I can see how you don’t value your customers and think of them as just means to earn money from. Both the receptionist/manager as well as the attendant is at fault. They forced me to become a part of the offer even when I was not interested, and then refused me the free services when I came to redeem the voucher. They never told me about any coupon and fooled me by billing me on membership price. They made sure that I would never ever step into a Naturals Salon again. I posted my feedback at Naturals FB page and at their website. Some days later, the owner of that franchise called me to make amends by asking me to avail my 2000 voucher. I asked him if the voucher can be availed in any other outlet and he said that wouldn't be possible. He told me that the receptionist told him that I myself had refused to take the coupon. That angered me even more. I told the owner that his staff is full of liars and cheaters and if he plans to make money this way, he might have to close the outlet very soon. It's my sincere request to all readers to please think many times before stepping into Naturals BTM outlet.
