Sir/Ma'm, I am writing after a traumatic experience. I travelled from delhi to kanpur on 6-may-13. I had selected pick up point : noida city centre metro station and bus timing was 10:30 pm. On reaching noida city centre at 9:45 pm I called R S Yadav travels on 9899056542 (no. given to me by travelyaari) to inquire as to when the bus shall arrive. The person on 9899056542 said that we have sent a sms ( though i didn't receive any) that bus shall only run from anand vihar only. I pleaded them to pick me up from noida city centre metro station as i have selected it while booking online but they denied saying that for one passenger we will not come there. I also told them that in order to reach noida city centre i spent Rs. 800 on cab. To this they replied that since you have come this far, please take a auto and come to pillar no 177 , kaushambi metro station. I had a lot of luggage with me. I was sweating,tired and feeling hot . I tried calling travelyaari.com on the nos. given on the ticket : (040) 44820000, (079) 44820000, (080) 44820000. One of them doesn't exist , one was busy all the time and on the third nobody picked up the phone. I was very dissapointed and helpless. Finally i arranged an auto for myself for Rs. 300 and went to pillar no. 177 , kaushambi metro station. This was not all. The bus conductor(s) asked my ticket several times and randomly alllocated me one seat in one of their buses. The bus had no seat numbers. While I chose seat no. 9. on the third row while booking online, but the seat given to me was in the sixth row in a sleeper bus. But the bus as mentioned on the site is Kinglong, A/C, Seater, 2 + 2 ( 45 ) . I doubt if AC was even working throughout the journey. Many people were packed in a very small space. Seats were not at all comfortable. My legs were hurting as the seat in front pressed against it.And my head banged against the sleeper seat above me all the time. Since i had no place to even sit properly ( Do not think that I am stout or disproportionate, every passenger experienced a similar feat. I am just a normal college boy, 24 years old) I had to put all my luggage including water bottle ( just imagine that there wasn't even a place to keep water bottle) in the decor of the bus at the back. The person who kept my bag and suitcase kept it in a pathetic condition. My new `wildcraft' bag ( worth Rs. 6000) got torn . I also lost two of my sealed mineral water bottles and my external hard disk in the bag suffered damages my data is lost and hard disk is also broken. Now ,I am very much heart broken. I always trusted travelyaari.com. But this experience has tortured me for I have suffered losses and didn't get what I was promised on the website. Please look into this matter as this is extremely hurting treatment that I have got.
