My friend’s family was devastated when they came to know about his cancer. I still remember the day. My friend was in tears; I tried to console him, but he kept crying. I wished I could do something for him. He’d been diagnosed with lung cancer. His smoking habit was finally ruining him. We all searched for the best hospital, for the best doctors. Somebody close to family suggested Max. We, however, took him to another hospital, where he remained for 2-3 days. But, we really didn’t like the way the doctor there talked about his survival chances. Next morning, we took him to Max healthcare Saket. The doctor there went through the reports, and talked to us in detail. We were relieved to hear that the doctor was quite hopeful about the treatment. My friend underwent a surgery. It’s been 7-8 months now. He’s leading a healthy, happy life. He does go for follow up sessions, and follow doctor’s advice religiously. I’d been with him some days during his hospital stay. And, I must tell you one thing: the staff was very helpful. Right from the doctors to nurses to the lady standing at the lifts, they all were so compassionate towards their parents.
