Cheats of the First Order.Shabby customer service.MY CAR insurance was to be paid by 29 th May.Due to connectivty problem I could not pay the same in time.When I tried to pay online on 30TH i was informed regarding expiry of my insurance.No reminder was sent to me earlier.On 30 th I contacted call center .They said,within 24 hours inspection would be carried out and DD collected from my workplace.The inspection was carried out but DEMAND DRAFT OF premium was not collected.I was told that some other person would collect the DD.But despite my 10 reminders no came to collect DD.ON one occasion the call center person informed me that persons had contacted me but my mobile was switched off and hence call has been closed. I told them that my mobile was never switched off and why no call was made to me on subsequent days.I was told that within 24 hours some would contact me and collect the DD.I reminded call center at least 5-6 times after that and got the same reply.When on 26 th June I finally got irritated and spoke to them in tough Language,they told me that my inspection report is negative. I got no answer as why my car which is only three years old and in fine condition,has got -ive inspection report,these buggers had no answer.They have wasted my time for 25 days and my car has been left without insurance.Hence I suggest to my friends not to buy HDFC -ERGO General Insuarnce
