ired their photographer for my sons first birthday celebration (unlimited photographs - soft copies); I'd rate the skill of the photographer as average (amateur or a beginner) as per the photographs clicked by him. I had informed the photographer that I'd like to have some passport size photographs clicked post the function which was not a problem as I hired him for clicking unlimited photographs. The function got over within 2 - 2.5 hrs post which I asked the photographer to click the passport size photographs; to this he said that he was getting late as he had to travel far to reach where he lived. I suggested him to click the snaps and then leave but he was adamant and requested me to let him go and suggested that we could come to their studio later and get them clicked free of cost... I, in all my good will and faith accepted this and let him go. Post this when I approached them for these photographs, they insisted that I pay them; I agreed as I wanted the hard (printed) copies. They clicked a total of 7 snaps (4 of my baby and 3 others) out of which 4 were printed; when I requested them for the soft copies of these snaps, I was told that I need to pay an additional 600 Rs. for these! I was stunned and taken aback and told them that I was promised these photographs free of cost! Initially they denied this but later agreed to mail the 4 snaps which were printed, free of cost! I asked them to email all the 7 snaps to which the owner replied that I'd need to pay for getting the other 3 emailed to me; I tried to reason with him telling him that had his photographer not left without clicking these snaps at my baby's party, I would've had their soft copies free of cost! Besides this was promised to me! The owner said that it's against their principles; I told him that I failed to understand the logic behind his so called principles... are their principles to cheat people... at least I'am sure of this with the kind of experience that I've had with them! My experiencd with them has not been good at all; I feel cheated and I regret the fact that I gave my business to them. Such people and their businesses should and cannot survive for long in today's customer centric market. I wouldn't recommend them at all; infact if a rating of 0 or less would've been on the rating scale, that's what they'd get from me. I hope they learn their lesson soon!
