My last visit to India was a memorable affair. Itâs an exotic location with lovely people, great traditions and special rituals that makes you feel united with this big whole of diverse cultures.
I was in Chennai and the temperature was soaring high to blow off some steam I signed up for a Spa session at the Influence Spa. The ambience was modern yet had an Indian style augmentation to it. The Spa spelt and smelt of all things natural and holistic and had an earthy appeal. The place seemed to meet at the confluence of peace and cure. It was floating with positive energy and reminded me of an ashram I visited near the Ganges. I was greeted by the staff with colourful garlands and sweet smiles. I progressed on to the Aroma Bar Therapy that is an ancient holistic healing art where in the essential oils create a significant activity in the brain. They react to your body and activate certain hormones. The therapy delivered antioxidants to my inner systems like the respiratory system and prohibited the rise of harmful free radicals. I felt like a queen being treated to such an ecstatic experience. Iâd suggest you try it too and acquire a heavenly experience when next time in India.
