Guess, they are the same all over. I too had a very bad experience with sqlstar, Mumbai, Andheri East. Made me pay upfront for the entire course Oracle+Java. Even though I requested to pay part fees, they took and before starting the course, asked me to pay the balance without which they said I would not be allowed to sit for the classes. So, I had not alternative than to pay as I wanted to do the entire course. The Oracle part got over in mid - April and I was told that after 2-3 weeks, the java classes would start. Till date, nothing and every time I go there or call them or email them, the dates go on changing from one month to another. Now, I asked them for 50% refund of the fees. They are telling me to see what the payment receipt states that no refund of fees. So, even if these people default, the students are at fault. I asked them that. No reply, neither from the Mumbai center nor the Hyderabad HQs. Guess this is the way the try to make their money. Promising people various programs, teaching them a few things and then just dumping them. I agree with you all fully, REAL FRAUD AND CHEATS! ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BE VER CAUTIOUS AND AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHOR INSTITUTE. BEWARE!!!! Takes money upfront from students and then harasses by not completing the programs. I had registered for Oracle+ java course (weekend batch - January 2013). Paid upfront Rs. 32,000/- plus. Did not allow me to do part payment even though I requested. Finished the oracle part in mid-April 2013 and was informed that the java part would start after 2-3 weeks and from then on, I am being given different dates for the start of the Java part. Every time I call or visit them, I am being given a new date. The latest was, in June, I was given July; in July, I was given August; when I called on 30th July, I was told September. In beginning of September, I was told 28th of September and now, because I am insisting on 50% of refund of my fees, I am told the weekend batch will start on 15th September. What's more , not only do they do not want to pay back the money, they are stating the rules on the payment receipt which says, no refunds of fees. I asked them even when the institute defaults? No answer to that. I anyway did not want to pay them for the entire course fees. They are the ones who insisted without which they refused to admit me into the classroom. I had paid half the fees and before the start of the course, they insisted I paid the balance for they said only after that, they would allow me to sit in the classroom. Now, they are quoting what the payment receipt states. This is absolute pre - planned cheating by the institute Since they charge they should also see if they can keep the commitment and if by some misfortune, they fail to keep to their commitment, they should graciously return back the money to the student even without the student approaching them for the refund. I did not push them to accept the entire fees. In fact, I did not want to pay for the entire course upfront. They are saying the institute is not running away with my money. I asked them if it is an opened ended course. No closure for it. No answer and they never come back. You have to go running after them. Neither do they reply back to calls/visits/ not even written emails. You have to remind them. And on their site they talk of principles binding them to teaching. I even forwarded my emails and correspondence to their HQ, Hyderabad. Nothing! I am still awaiting replies from both the Mumbai and Hyderabad centres for their replies to my emails.
