Guys RMT School follows CBSE syllabus. It is a great school, quality education and affordable fee. They have expanded to Sholinganallur/Semmancheri campus and will be operational from June 2014 with pre-KG to Class VIII. They have good standard teachers and emphasise on education+activities (including Chess, Karate, Music, Dance, etc). From time to time they conduct State level competitions (like chess, recitation, spelling bee, etc) which is attended by eminent schools like BVM, PSBB, etc. I attended one of their cultural fests inaugurated by famous singer Ms. Vani Jayaram. I would rate it as AWESOME for my child!!
