Star City Taxi

Today, I had called the Star City Taxi at 9:30 am to book taxi for 12:30 pm to pick us from Kudlu and drop at Yashwantpura railway station as the train starts at 3:30 pm. Whenever I drive, it takes maximum 1 hour 30 minutes. So thought 3 hours in advance should be pretty good time. They took my order and did not take any action. At 12:30 pm when I called them on why the taxi did not come, they then realized and called a driver at 12:45 pm. The driver did not call me till 12:45 pm and I called back the taxi again. Finally driver called me at 12:55 PM and told me that the taxi guys called him to pick us at that time only. By the time driver came to our place at 1:30 pm. I had doubt whether can we reach or not as the driver was not sure about the route and I was not in the taxi as my mother was travelling. Finally she had to miss the train and I had called the taxi office on who will bear the loss. Initially they agreed their mistake on not sending the taxi on time and when I asked them for compensation, they said, they started telling that because of traffic we lost the train and not their mistake. The owner was not ready talk to me as well and when warned them of legal process, they said, they don't care. This is the customer service. They started changing their tone. I would suggest not to use Star City Taxi now onwards. I am going to post this incident everywhere now. Even such incident happened earlier but somehow the driver could able to manage and this time the driver seemed not to have any knowledge on the routes as he had asked for the route at least 10 times. What a service and top of that they do not accept their mistake and blamed traffic. When I said, due to traffic only I had booked 3 hours ahead and don't tell this as traffic issue, they hung up the call.
