Their own cabs will be in very bad condition, you will only get to know when the cab comes.
I had booked a cab (INNOVA) from bangalore to ooty and back from Divakar (Tours and travels) #614 GNS Arcade (Basement), Shop no 2, 100Ft Ring Road, 28th Main, 2nd Stage Opp. Samsung Service Plaza, BTM Layout, Near Gangothri Hospital, Bangalore - 56076 The car broke down after Mandya (about 160 km from bangalore). Somehow we reached Mysore. I contacted the travel asking for a replacement cab. They informed that they did not have a replacement cab. The cab driver left us in Mysore and returned back. The travel agency promised to check and back and at least provide a replacement cab the next morning. They never got back. Next day i arranged for my family and returned back to bangalore to provide a closure. The travel agency instead of being apologetic, charged me for the distance I had travelled + driver bata 250 Rs (even though duration was only for 2 hrs). Since I had already paid more than that, they did not instantly provide a refund but instead told me to come some other time later. We had our trip cancelled and the booking amount for the hotel in Ooty also got lost.
I have already filed a case in consumer court. Awaiting judgement.
