Thanks for the recommendation!! Took "Laila's" advice and went looking for furnishings for my new home. After doing a round of all the regular stores all around town, I finally landed up at The Swadeshi Store. And what a find it was!! Wonderfully different fabrics in many, many colors with matching cushions, sheers, bedspreads, floor rugs... the works!! And everything in beautiful hand woven cotton. Apparently all their fabrics are eco friendly and hand made. I picked up their hand embroidered ready curtains and not only do they look great, they wash great too. I'm definitely going back here again!
