I had purchased silk sarees (made in power loom) from the shop and felt cheated as the similar silk sarees ( hand loom) was costing hardly 50% of the cost of saree purchased from Roopam silk centre. Immediately after confirmation of the cost in Bangaluru I rang and inform the shop for charging me double the rate and requested for corrective action as the shop sales man might have told me wrong price inadvertently. But in spite of my request nothing was done. The shop charge me at least Rs. 3500 /- extra for a similar saree. If such a shop in Bangaluru cheats consumers its reputation can not be survive for longer time. I would like to again request shop owner to review their attitude for such ind of cheating which may not be in the interest of themselves. If they want any clarification I can show them the invoice also and they can verify saree any where regarding its cost.
