Hi, Let me narrate my experience. On the 26th of August 2008 I booked a driver for the next day. The driver was to arrive at 9AM on the 27th. I wanted to use him to ferry around my daughter & son-in-law as I was to resume office after my daughter's marriage.
On the morning of the 27th at 7:15AM I called up EZI Drive, gave them the confirmation no. and asked them to confirm about the driver. I was reassured the driver was going to come. While talking to me, the agent from EZI asked me to hold on whilst answering another customer. I overheard him telling the other customer that she could not get a driver the same day, and that drivers were in short supply; he could commit a driver the next day but as far as today was concerned, he would do his "level best".
Well, 9AM came and then 9:30AM with no sign of the promised driver. I called up EZI Drive and this time a different agent came on line and said that the driver would be there (at my place ) in 20 minutes. I asked if the driver was already on his way (since I stay off Sarjapur Rd). I was told that they were trying to locate a driver near my residence; any driver. With fading hope I hung up the call and informed my daughter that a driver may be on his way.
Again at 10 AM when I called I was again given the magical 20 minute figure and my persistent questioning elicited the information that EZI Drive was still hunting for a driver.
Finally my daughter drove herself.
