In Kolkata, especially for vegetarians there are very few restaurants which are pure veg, most of the veg restaurants are in Central Kolkata, which normally is far from residential areas,i.e. south and north kolkata,so on VIP Road, where I stay,I am happy to have Bilka Palace by us.It has surely nice varieties of sweets, marwari and gujarati snacks,as well as tasty meals. The Mirchi pakoda at the Bika palace is not to be missed as a starter or their Raj Kachodi for that matter. They have some nice eggless cakes like the chocolate cakes especially, absolutely mouth watering, soft ,creamy ,spongy and delicious, Their Thali is an awesome package, they serve sealed mineral water glasses with it free and their Thali is available at a Rs.100 only, the quantity of 2 subzis and dal are sufficient with 1 naan ,1 tandoori roti and pulao is sure to fill your tummy and yummy taste buds. For a couple you can have a great dinner on weekend in just Rs.250,with good quality food that is tasty & not much oily and spicy. Also chinese and other south indian delicacies are there,So all at one stop,"so if you are bhuka rush to bika"

INOX

Inox is a no.1 multiplex in India, but i didn't expect this.We had been to Inox,Rajarhat,Kolkata to watch My Name is Khan at 9:40 a.m.show today (on 13.02.2010) .Myself and my husband got tickets for CL C-12 and CL C-13.At the interval, suddenly the seat broke & went down,I hurt myself a bit,but what hurt me most was the people from the neighbour seats started laughing.I suddenly couldn't realise this happened only to me alone in the hall.I am an average lady weighing 60kg enough for any seat to withstand the weight. My husband was also not there since it happened during the interval,he went to bring some snacks. When he complained to the attendants in the hall,we were given a different seat. Our seats CL C-12 & -13 were in the middle, but the other seats we were offered were in the corner ,just below the AC vent,we got headache after sitting there because of the cold breeze coming directly on our heads.I am a great movie buff, all this years multiplexes were not there ,the local cinema halls was only the resort, but I never had such a terrible experience.Atleast this was not expected from a theatre like Inox. Moreover this is not an old theatre,it has just come up past few months. When this multiplexes charge so high for the tickets, snacks, can they answer what is the quality of their service?
