Sage And Thyme

Koramangala ,Bangalore
March 17, 2010
It was a hot summer afternoon, I was desperate for a chilled drink. I was not sure if I should enter Sage n Thyme as I had never been there before.. not in a mood to try something new too.. however with limited options I did take chance...I happened to be welcomed by the owner himself- Mr.Ahmed, who saw my dire state and offered me a new mint coke with vanilla topping.. Simply chilling and refreshing. I was offered to be pampered as all was customised to my taste I was then tempted by the description of the healthy menu where I was pampered with choices for healthy eating- try their vegs soup- which was customised to my choice of veggies - brocolli was crispy fresh! a bowl of garden salad which cheese shavings and feta cheese cubes and the salad dreesing- just apt!!! Nasi gorerang and chicken satay is a must try.. I was also tempted for a few bites of palak pakora chaat- which has fine chopped tomatoes, onions and crisp cucumber.. Simply awesome. I shall visit Sage and Thyme every day at least for chaat as Mr.Ahmed the owner is very warm and welcoming, great ambience, lovely music- what more does one want to destress and go for a relaxing evening! Recommendation- A TV to watch cricket matches with their Masala chai.. is a great combo.. so Ahmed i suggest you must install a TV soon... open a few more branches around the city!! The genuine flavours and warmth / hospitality the resturant will do wonders!!! Guys- dont miss visitng this place... Great ambience for the college goers!!! I cross my heart I am genuinely mentioning this!!!
