I was horrified at the condition of this center.My husband took a blood test over there and this is what I noticed:
- The room itself was very badly maintained and dirty.
- USED blood syringes were lying in an open dustbin
- The attendant did not even wear gloves while taking blood
- The attendant did not dis infect the arm before inserting the needle
- When the blood was taken, he broke the syringe.The blood splashed all over the side board and he didnt even bother looking at it let alone cleaning it!!!
One absolutely cannot play around with something as dangerous as blood! Used syringes are a bio hazardous waste and should not be just lying around with someone's blood spattered all over the bin and table.
It was a horrifying experience and I will not recommend going there unless they improve their standards.
