WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TAILORING SERVICE EVER. I do not recommend anyone going to this tailor.
I trusted Mohanraj, the owner of Vriksha Bridal, and gave them a saree for pre stitching, 3 for fall stitching, and 5 saree blouses for stitching. Three of these sarees were expensive sarees, and one of these three sarees being a pure kanjivaram saree.
I was ensured all will be ready on a Sunday evening, as I was leaving India the next morning.
Low and behold, the sizing and cutting for the saree blouses were very wrong. We spent 2-3 hours in their shop trying to getting saree blouses altered and fixed. This was done by Mohan and his female staff. They failed to do it as apparently they are not the saree expert, and their saree expert called in sick after getting drunk the night before - which I truly believe was a poor excuse.
We requested for a refund but he convinced us heâÃÂÃÂd have them redone and ready - but to give him one other day. Mohan and his staff took our measurements, we were asked to send our address for courier and he said he will pay for the courier as it was their fault.
It has now been close to two weeks, with barely any responses from them. They ignore my messages/calls and my mumâÃÂÃÂs messages/calls.
Do not trust Mohanraj, I believe he has tricked us and has now basically stolen our money. IâÃÂÃÂd strongly recommend anyone cheated by him to raise a case against their business, we donâÃÂÃÂt want others going through the same disappointing experience with loss of time, energy and money.
IMO, it is truly not worth the hassle, time, money and energy.
UPDATE: WeâÃÂÃÂve touched the 3 weeks mark, Mohanraj and the girl that works at T Nagar has blocked us. His wife Renuka from Velachery branch has reached out to me, she has sent a couple of voice messages noting if refund is what we want, we should request for a refund for unsatisfactory service. IâÃÂÃÂve gone ahead and responded to her requesting for the refund of 7,500 for 5 saree blouses simple stitching with no additional designs. It has been a couple of days, yet to hear a response, I will provide an update once I hear back, OR donâÃÂÃÂt! Hoping someone at Vriksha Bridal would do right by us.
