Most (I feel 95% of them) of the maid providers of Bombay are like this only and I can say this from my long experience. One Mr.Shambhu Lal Shau of Arati Consultancy of J P Road, Andheri is even a bigger fraud. This fellow will speak with you in such a smooth tune before the money is given to him that you would not feel that he is one of the biggest cheaters in Mumbai. There are rumours in the markets that he even cheats (sexually exploit) the girls/ladies in the name of giving them jobs of maid. I have heard that many of these maid providers ask the girls/ladies to sleep with them (owners of these placement services) to provide them jobs--don't know right or wrong.
Most of these thugs will ask for advance and once the money is given you will have to wait for days and weeks and sometimes months to get their service. Ultimately they might give you maid, which might last only few days or weeks or till the full payment is made to them.....some will ask you to pay the whole amount when the maid is provided. And when the money is provided to them the maid vanishes the next day citing any reason. I have not got a single service till date which is appreciable. Once Dr.Manju Agarwal Maid Services, provided me with such an old vixen, that my society had to remove her from my house.
Moreover, the 24 hour maid in many cases are part time SEX WORKERS or they will sleep with you if you give them money. If you husband has some weakness, these might destroy your family by going very close to your husband (remember Shiny Ahuja case??!!).
So when you are going for the maid service in Bombay, please be prepared to lose your money. I have lost enough of them in the last 5- 6 years in Bombay. Moreover, these days, the maid charge whatever they like--there is no end to their greed--Rs.4k, 5k., 6k, 7k and even 10 k. Don't why why people study to get job even illiterate of semi-literate maids can earn so much.
GOVERNMENT SHOULD DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS MENACE IN MUMBAI (Bombay). I am fed up wth these services.
