I have a horrible experience to share that has taken place very recently. Yesterday I went to the Garia branch of this company and asked one Mr. Chatterjee regarding the availability of Sony Bravia 26EX300 television. He promptly said yes and even agreed to send the installation personnel and the product along with us once the formalities are over. However, while in the midway of transaction, Mr. Chatter informed that the said model is just out of stock and the same will be delivered by tomorrow (i.e., today) 12 PM sharp. Being an old customer who bought several gadgets like ACs, microwave, Fridge, Mixer and washing machine from the same shop, I trusted the man and cam home. Now it is five-0-clock and there is bleak chance of receiving the article. Meanwhile two salespersons provided two versions - one said that their delivery vehicle has become stranded at Eastern Bypass due to tyre puncture, while the other person first said that the product is out of stock and thus this delay! Upon pressing them, they further promised to deliver by 7PM tonight. I'll provide an update of the same accordingly. This is a sheer breach of contract that tantamount to legal redress. I lost one whole business day, while my son also missed his classes. Are the bigwigs of this company listening? Amitava
